La Lancha
Hi all:
Has anyone stayed at La Lancha near Tikal or heard anything about it? Any feedback would be most appreciated. Thanks. |
I stayed at Blancaneaux last month. I remember them saying (it's owned by the same people) that there weren't many guests there. But it looked like a really beautiful place. Please post a report if you stay there.
I would imagine that any excursions would be quite pricey which is how it was at Blancaneaux, but they did a good job, so it felt like the money was well spent. |
I've been and think its lovely. Situated overlooking the huge lagoon in a reserve. I've booked clients there who have all been more than pleased. Not as pricey as BL. Seibal ruins are also a great day trip from here.

Hi annmcd...If La Lancha is anything like Blancaneaux, it will be fantastic.
I don't want to highjack your thread, but am wondering if anyone knows how close La Lancha is to the actual park? |
35 min drive, now that the speed limit was reduced after a vehicle hit and killed a jaguar.
