Ambergris Caye
 

My fiance will be heading to Belize on our honeymoon in June. We're looking for a villa to say on Ambergris Caye. Anyone have suggestions on where we should stay? Thanks!

Your own house? With pool, maid, cook, cable tv, a/c? Close to town or more remote? Be more specific pls and we'll point you in the right direction.

We're looking to stay close to San Pedro, preferrably walking distance. A pool would be nice, but it's not required. A/C would be great. A maid, cook, and cable TV are not necessary. We're just looking for a nice place with oceanfront views, 1-2 bedrooms, and maybe a hammock or two. :-)

Also, the lodging section of www.ambergriscaye.com has a dozen or so privately owned houses offered for vacation rental.

Another option (and likely cheaper) would be one of the small condotels such as Xanadu, The Palms, Villas at Banyan Bay, Belizean Reef and others.
