Wow some of you are soooo dramatic.
|
The new header probably does mean I can't view this forum at work. But I can't complain about that.
|
I don't mind the colours, but instead of threads you've read being marked in red, they're sort of greyed out, which, certainly, for my aging eyes, makes them impossible to read:(
|
Mea culpa. I went out and bought a Fodor's guide Friday for Arizona [should have bought Frommers] -- and in honor of my doing that we have these new colors :D
The only thing we have a chance at is to get them to change the color of "read" threads. |
I'm not likely to purchase any Fodors books, because I find more solid info than I would ever need right here. However, to chime in on the header controversy, I think the colors look great! J.

I don't suppose we can blame Fodors for introducing their corporate logo & colours on to their website; after all, most other organisations & businesses do.
Doesn't mean I have to like it, though. Jim |
I do think they're trying to pull all their products into some harmony with what they've apparently adopted as the color scheme for their publications. But a quick glance reminds me strongly of the German flag, now that I've gotten past the Velveeta & pimento train of thought (maybe I was hungry). Of course, it depends on how you've set your warm and cool colors on your monitor, but....
Anyway, it's not to my taste, but I think some of the other aspects of the new format are okay. And still agree with those who call for separate Hawaii and Disney forums (fora?). |
