Hello Silvia- I am planning a trip to Austria and Hungary this year and would like to know the best time of the year to travel with regards to weather. I'm looking at June or July. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you.

Hi Sylvia, I am going to be in Vienna for 10 days and was looking at the Best Western Hotel Tigra. It is not expensive and claims to be air conditioned. Do you know if this hotel is OK and is within walking distance of the opera.

I am not Silvia but can perhaps answer your question. Hotel Tigra is on a side street a few minutes walk from the city center.<BR> You can easily walk to the Opera in 10-15 minutes.<BR> It is near numerous restaurants and public transport.<BR> If you have a city map, it is near Freyung and Am Hof( large city squares) <BR> <BR>
