Which region in Rome?
We're trying to decide between two regions to stay in: Navona or the Colosseum area. Which would be better for sightseeing, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.?
Thanks! |
Piazza Navona
|
Consider Lazio.

2nd vote for Piazza Navona

Colloseum area has wider streets, much more vehicle traffic, more professional busineses. Probably more walking in between sites, resturants, cafes , etc.
Navona narrower streets, less vehicle traffic, many "alleyways to explore" more of a mix of centuries beyond roman styles. Definetly less walking between sites, restuarants, cafes, etc. However both have their unique charm. |
Thank you for your responses!

Does a 25 minutes walk seperate 2 'regions`?
There is sightseeing and restaurants and bars and shopping to do in both areas. You could change hotel in the middle of your journey... or find a hotel in the Pantheon / Largo Argentina / Piazza Venezia Triangle... |
Without a doubt- Piazza Navonna!!!!
