I figure most of the 'fodorites' on this board are American, I'm from England. So where are you from ?

I've lived in Orlando for 15 years, after being in the Army for seven and traveling all over. Originally from New York City.

I'm from England, too (Shrewsbury) but have been in the U.S. 22 years. I love to travel and have visited 90 countries so far.

Hi Dina, I was born in central Pennsylvania, then lived in the suburbs of Philadelphia, then suburban NYC, now living in suburban Atlanta. Hello! I was borm in Cuba, grew up in Miami and have lived in Japan and Scotland and various parts of the US. I now live outside Washington, DC, but my part of me lives in Paris. We travel every chance we get.

Grew up near Syracuse, NY, lived in and out of Philadelphis for many years, then Ohio, then West Virginia and now, for 10 years, near Chicago, IL. AZll this is USA! <BR> <BR>The only major Western European country I have not visited is Switzerland. I pine for Paris and plan [if things settle down] to be teaching is Pristina, Kosovo this July.

Hello! I've lived a long and exciting life in Chicago IL. I've read about 6 or 7 books a week at night since I was a kid, so most of my travel (outside the USA) has been through words until my late 30's. Tried to make up for it since then, but would love to see a lot more of Canada, Australia, and New Zealand in particular. In two years or so, I plan to be in Europe for about 2 to 3 months. <BR> <BR>Come to Chicago to see a big city that loves to host everyone and that holds an endearing American flavor unlike any other. Our lions went back up in front of the Art Institute today and they promised they won't move them again for 100 years.

Live in a small town about 1 and 1/2 hours from Memphis, TN. Travel whenever I can but would love to travel more.

Ireland, on the other hand, would be a wonderful place to return to if they could only do something about the rain!

Hi all! I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. I lived in washington D.C. for 7 years while attending college and grad school and just moved to chicago 2 years ago. My checkbook didn't allow me to travel much until the last year or two, but I certainly plan to make up for it now that I am no longer a student and have a "real job"

I was born in NYC, lived in Queens for nine years before moving to New Jersey. I came down to Washington, DC for college, stayed, and now live outside of DC in Maryland.

I live in the USA in a suburb north of Chicago. I have visited several European countries while in the Navy and my sub did refits in Scotland. Since the kids are now on their own my wife and I have been starting to take more vacations in Europe.

I was born in a small North Carolina, U.S. town, lived in the state of Wisconsin for over 7 years, then moved back to Durham, North Carolina. I would love to live in another part of the U.S. or abroad for a change, but I can't convince my wife of it yet. Most of our family members live within an hour of here.
