Where is Bogatec (Bogatici)?

Can anyone tell me where this small city is in Croatia (or possibly elsewhere in former Yugoslavia)? You guessed it, I'm going there in April to trace my roots.

In Croatia there isn't a place called Bogatec. But there is Bogatic (original spelling has a small oblique line above the letter c). Original spelling here:
http://moj.hinet.hr/karte/map.dll/image?l=4&x=2460135&y=4861917&cx=2460135&cy=486191 7

The village is placed in Dalmatia, north of cities of Sibenik and Skradin and NW of Drnis (near Krka National Park). Croatia - Dalmatia - Sibensko-Kninska County - District of Promina - Village of Bogatic
It is so small it can't be found on any maps except on the digital searchable map of Croatia at:
http://my.hinet.hr/maps.asp
But you need to write names in original spelling in order to search function work correctly.
To see where is it located in relation to Sibenik and Drnis please go to:
http://moj.hinet.hr/karte/map.dll/image?l=8&x=2460135&y=4861917&cx=2460135&cy=486191 7
and in relation to Skradin:
http://moj.hinet.hr/karte/map.dll/image?l=7&x=2460135&y=4861917&cx=2460135&cy=486191 7

According to http://www.drnis.com Bogatici has only 48 inhabitants.

Btw, your surname is very common in Croatia and I've searched Croatian online phone book:
http://imenik.tel.hr/?lang=1
and there are three Mudrinic listed in Bogatic (Filip, Krste and Milka).
Here you don't need to write original spelling names. Just type in Mudrinic in "Search for" and select 022 Sibenik and Knin from "County" list.
In the search results clicking on "Bogatic" will bring you to the map.

Hope this helps.
Could you possibly mean Rogatec which is a small village in Slovenia right just outside one of the Croatian borders?

Thank you so much for your information. It was very useful to me. I'm writing to the Mudrinic family in Bogatic.
