Hi <BR>I am sitting with the window wide open - it is a beautiful warm evening in Perugia, Umbria (the centre of Italy). <BR>I have a fabulous lunch in Assisi, sitting in the open, overlooking the castle and lovely countryside. <BR>Now I am watching the bombing on the CNN news - God help us all, life can be so wonderful, why do we destroy it?

Dear Helen,Mish,Gigi,Capo, and all~ this is so lovely, what a treat to sit here in my room and "see" what the weather is like and the views from your windows, overlooking San Francisco, Seattle,Arizona,Paris, Tuscany!!Thank you for cheering me up on a sad news day~ I,my husband and the poodle, went to a park today so the pup could have a good run in the fresh air, then we walked in the woods, it is cold today-in the 50's and the wind is blowing the leaves all over, a pretty fall day in NY/NJ..we have been back and forth across borders today:) Then lunch in an outdoor cafe, so the you-know-what could join us at our table and sneak crumbs under the table. Keep this thread going, it is so cheering ~and Capo! my son is living in Japan, teaching English to 3-6 year old babies, missing home, loving Japan..I didn;t redalize that he is having a colorful fall also~thanks~
