Looks like the AJC was right.
I often wondered whether or not the AJC knew more than it was saying in order to protect delicate negotiations.

Although the members of the Delta pilot's union must approve the wage deal for the contract to be final, I doubt very much if they would overturn it.

There were several comments in the coverage by the AJC today made by various pilots.
Some of them were wondering if their final landing last night would be the last of their careeers.

Several other sources, news and otherwise, have maintained all along that an actual strike would be highly unlikely; hopefully they were correct since this "deal" has still to be "ratified" in some way or another.
