What is the snorkeling like in Turkey

Hi there -

We are considering a trip to Turkey in the summer months.

I know you can snorkel there, but I can't find much information on what it is like. I know its not the Caribbean, but what do you see? Is there coral? Colorful fish?

Can you snorkel from the beach?

Where are the best spots?

Where should we stay?

Thanks a ton!
