Topping again!

One thing I have noticed...
On some of the other forums people use whatever kind of language they want.
I would personally appreciate it if someone could express themselves without using crude language.
Frommer's seems to watch the posts closely but it is not very user friendly.
Thank you Fodors!

I wish there was a UBB message board site (other than eurotrip.com which is often pretty useless).

No, non-AOL cannot reach the message boards. I can't if I'm on a non-AOL computer although I can access my e-mail.

For a broad variety of topics and forums,
thathomesite.com has a lot to offer; it's $15. a year.

To whomever asked, No, 40 is not too old to learn to "drive" a computer. Many of us are over 60 and help our children with computers (and our children are engineers!).

As a retired music teacher, I'll tell you what I told my students . . . Practice, practice, practice.

It works.

Have fun.

I'm another www.lonelyplanet.com user! It's my favourite travel site by far - the users are knowledgeable, and you tend to get a lot of advice from natives rather than other tourists.
www.tripadvisor.com is great to get reviews of hotels and www.virtualtourist.com isn't bad either.

another lonelyplanet user, but under another name (and even another password)

I use egullet.com and chowhound.com for tips on the best places to eat in the world.
