Venice and Florence photos online (New Years)
 

Hi all<BR><BR>MORE photos are online now. These are from New Years 2000/2001. I don't have all of them up but these a good representative sampling. I tried to pick my favorites, so it isn't overwhelming or anything.<BR><BR>I've been trying to put some order into my MANY stacks of photos. Just since May 1999, I've been to Europe 13 times for vacation/job search. (holy cow, time flies and the adventures rack up) do I get an honorary EU passport now? ha ha<BR><BR>so far I have France, Italy, Scotland, and soon Ireland online. Most of my London ones are shots of me with friends, doubt I will put them up for public consumption. STILL have to go through many others, not sure when I will get to them. (and forget about the ones from the past 20 years before this batch - I was never as organized as I am now with the photos)<BR><BR>but if you are interested in seeing the ones I have so far, email me or post here.<BR><BR>whew. <BR><BR>happy travels everyone!<BR><BR>beth

Dawn, glad you liked the Ireland ones. I blew up about 5 of them (BOOM) to 8x12s... nice weather makes for nice photos. :-)<BR><BR>anytime, sure thing. Beth, can you post a URL? Or do you not have them on a Web site? (You said they're "online," which made me think they're on a Web site somewhere.<BR><BR>Or maybe you don't want to post the URL in public.... in any case, I'd love to see your photos!

Hey, Beth! I don't know how I missed this one. Please send photos or photo location! Thanks for the tip on the olive oil handcream at Oliviers--it is yummy and smells divine.

Hi Sue, <BR><BR>just popping in briefly and saw this. heading out with friends right now, but will send all photos on later. <BR><BR>re: Oliviers and Co. handcream - yes it is divine! They have a store on the Ile St. Louis, I bought ten tubes as gifts on my March trip. That and the olive oil soap, it is heavenly. stock up when you can find it!<BR><BR>I've also seen the store in Cannes (where I discovered it initially) and Brighton of all places. also Grand Central Station in New York. nice..<BR><BR>beth

Beth-the pictures are wonderful. Hope you don't mind, but I bought 2 of them. The sunflower and the 1st Italy picture (the one you framed). I just couldn't resist-they are beautiful...You really should become a professional!

Tracey - no worries, glad you liked them so much!<BR><BR>I have to say, the actual photo looks SO much better. it blew up to 8x12 and looked simply gorgeous (the Venice one). I got it professionally framed and gave it to a guy I work with as a thank you for the loan of a wheelchair (for a research project in London - the pics from that trip are hilarious!)<BR><BR>I am not as happy with the scanning. it's a little murky. If I get these negatives scanned to disc, I could email it to you - it would be much crisper then.<BR><BR>I have to say, a LOT of people like my lonely sunflower photo. too funny. it also looks so much better "in person" than scanned. <BR><BR>(or maybe it is the stories surrounding them all)<BR><BR>to everyone who asked and is still waiting - I will get the others sent out, promise! I have been swamped. (well, socializing a wee bit too much - that and doing a translation).<BR><BR>:-)<BR><BR>Beth
