I think I sent them my name, number of people, date and time of requested tour, and that I wanted an English-speaking tour.

Maybe try emailing them again with that information?

Onto, send it again, on Monday. You should receive a reply in a day or two.

Has anyone booked more than one tour for the same day? I would like to do the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel plus the gardens. Would it make more sense to go back another day and see the gardens?

We did the 10:30 am tour of the Museums/Sistine Chapel. I don't remember exactly what time we finished, as we spent some time wandering back through the museums from the Sistine, but it was around lunchtime. (By the way, the cafeteria serves some really good food!)

So, if they offer an afternoon tour (maybe after 2 pm), I think you could do it all in one day. It would be a long day, though.

Enjoy your visit!

We did the Vatican Gardens tour in the morning, and the Scavi tour in the afternoon. We spent the time in between having lunch, looking through the shops for a bit, and then in St. Peters. The down time was actually great because we spent some time in the Blessed Sacrament chapel, something we likely wouldn't have done otherwise (other than for a minute or two).

We did the museum/Sistine Chapel tour the previous day.

Lyndamcn - I would book the museum (early) tour and gardens (later)on the same day with a couple of hours in between. After your museum tour, stay in the museum and visit any areas that weren't covered by the tour. Have lunch in the cafeteria and then do the gardens.
