"neckervd is right about saving almost a day in trains by leaving late but you won't get to see much. I'd want to see the Alps as I crossed them, and i don't like arriving in new places in the dark unless I have to."
It depends of the season. Between May and August, it gets dark after 9pm. At this time, the train I suggested enter the Varzo tunnel, followed immediately by the 20 km long Simplon tunnel, the 30 km long Loetschberg tunnel and the Hondrich tunnel. After that, you are already in the larger Interlaken area. BTW: no place in Switzerland, not even the remotest one, is 10 hrs by train from Venice. Some examples: Geneva, Basel, Zurich, Neuchatel, Scuol-Taarasp, Samnaun: 7 hrs Chaes und Brot, Erdmannlistein, Winterthur: 7 1/2 hrs Liebistorf, Sex Rouge, Lustmuehle: 8 1/2 hrs Titlis, Jungfraujoch: 9 1/2 hrs |
I thought replying to me was just a waste of time?? In any case, yes I've already answered the question and gotten the answers to the travel time.

I answered to anhing. But you are right: it was a waste of time.
