Sandi, I think it was me who posted about the price we paid for the two connecting rooms last March. I looked at my receipts again and we paid $777 euro for 3 nights. I thought it was a good deal at the time, but now I think it was really good!

My husband and I stayed at the Due Torri for several nights last October. We found it a charming and delightful hotel with a friendly staff. I requested a "superior" room and we were pleased to be given a small but fully-equipped and well-maintained room with a private terrace, nicely landscaped, with table and chairs, overlooking the rooftops of Rome. Frankly, we didn't spend much time on the terrace because we were busy sightseeing or sleeping, but it was a treat to spend a few minutes soaking up the atmosphere each morning and evening. The location of Due Torri is fantastic, just 2 minutes walk from the Pantheon, and close to most other sites, yet the immediate neighborhood is not touristy. Enjoy your trip to Rome!

We stayed at Hotel Teatro di Pompeo in August for a week. The location - half a minute's walk from the Campo di Fiori is excellent. The staff were very pleasant and although it is a small hotel someone was on the desk day and night - there is also an elevator. Our room, with bath, was clean and had AC and a fridge. Breakfast was included in the 150 Euros a night.

The Due Torri's rooms are so small that the mice run around hunched back. But the location is ideal.
