TRSW's Paris Photos
Hi Everybody,
The first three galleries from my trip to Paris have been uploaded at www.pbase.com/trsw/paris2007 Tom |
Amazing pics! Loved the fountains. Makes me even more eager to get there.
Thanks for sharing. :) |
Lovely!!!
Thank you, Tom |
That is amazing. Wow. I was tranported away from the office for a few minutes. I'd like to say which was my favorite, but there were so many. Merci!
|
OMG - the long picture of the fountain Marie de Médicis in the Jardin du Luxembourg is my absolute favorite and is my new desktop photo. I am sure I should be sending you a royalty.
HOW did you get the colors to come out that way??? It just doesn't seem like it could have been that perfect. I have it centered with a maroon border and I just want to hang my monitor on the wall like a picture. Thanks you for giving me so much pleasure today - it's my birthday, too!:) |
Thank you for posting the photos, Tom! The fall colors were just beautiful!
|
Beautiful!
We are heading to Paris in April. Our traveling companions are coming over for dinner tonight. I will be sure to show them these photos. They are truly outstanding! Thanks so much for taking the time to post all your pictures. I really enjoyed each of them. |
Tom, you mentioned flying nonstop from SEA to CDG - I've been looking at different sites and cannot find a nonstop. Did you book directly through AF/Delta? BTW your pics are fantastic
|
What beautiful photos!
What camera setting do you use to get the car lights to "stream". Can't think of a better word for this - especially beautiful in the night pictures. |
Thank you so much. These are wonderful memories for me. As I'm a terrible photographer, I have to depend on people like you, Tom!
|
Thank you all for the kind words. There are more to come soon.
HappyCheesehead - That is one of the few shots where the gray overcast skies actually helped the soft fall colors stand out. As for a royalty, just consider it a B-Day gift. Barb - I booked directly with Air France. You are in San Diego right? If so, the only way for you to get nonstop is to fly out of LAX jodeenyc - I used the 'aperture priority' setting on the camera. So the shot was taken at F16 with a 18 second exposure. Tom |
I just added two new sub galleries. One of the food you see in the windows and open air markets. The other is of Nore Dame, a photographers dream canvas.

Inspirational, thank you.

Beautiful - thanks for sharing

Tom,
I am from north of Seattle, another PNWester. |
Barb,
Sorry my bad. But like I said, go to Air Frances web site. I think they do 5 non-stops a week to Paris. It leaves at about 5pm and arrives a little before noon. Tom |
Absolutely beautiful pics
You must be a professional! I haven't seen a postcard thatcan compare! We visit again in April and your photos warm my heart! thank you Linda |
Hi Tom,
These are such gorgeous pictures. When were you in Paris? We were there from October 6-10 and I don't think the colors were quite as far along. It was a real treat, especially for desert dwellers like use, who don't get to see much in the way of fall colors. Thank you for posting the link to your pictures. |
Linda - Thank you so much, I am glad you and the others like the photos. And to answer your question, no I am not a proffesional, just a serious hobby for the past 30 years.
BevK - I was in Paris from Nov 1st -Nov 9th. There will be 2-3 more sub-galleries to be added soon. Tom |
Thank you for sharing. Paris is stunning in the Fall. (and anytime in my opinion).
