Well, I for one never bought into this. The idea that a woman's ear drum burst and blood came gushing out is absurd.

You're not really good, you're not to be believed in the future is all.

I didn't buy it either Nana, but...

"I would have dragged that kid out of his mother's arms and stomped him to death."

I refer all to my prior post about the WalMart assailant.

And - when we picked up friends at the airport at 11:40 on Saturday night with their 2 year old son, they were exhausted. I asked how he had done on the plane. "He slept the entire time, but the flight was AWFUL!"

I inquired a little further and it turns out that there were two small dogs in first class who barked and howled constantly - the entire 2 1/2 hour flight. Apparently, it was so bad and there were so many complaints, that the captain requested that they be placed in a lavatory to deafen the sound of their barking. The passenger/owner refused for the first hour and eventually agreed to place their pet carriers in the lav.

It's not just babies.

wow, mom! that is amazing. i've never experienced barking dogs on the plane, but can understand how it could be as bad, if not worse than crying babies!

Barking dogs would be a real nuisance, wouldn't it?

:)

what's worse apparently clifton, is when the post you start and want to end keeps coming back.

"just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water..."

:))

...LoL...

I just had to come back after the flight I had today. It was quick, just 50 minutes, but the guy in front of me across the aisle had BOTH earplugs and his Bose noise-cancelling headphones on.

He was working and playing music on his computer, but a very shrill alarm kept going off on the computer - sometimes it went on for several minutes until his seatmate tapped him on the shoulder. He couldn't hear it but WE all could!

My only friend, the end....

No, this one is the end...

tenthumbs Aug 5th, 2010 02:04 PM

sorry, I like to have the last word occasionally.......

portiaperu Aug 5th, 2010 03:00 PM

I'm new here, so I'm not familiar with protocol, but when someone tries to have the last word or end a conversation I feel the need to be heard . . .

Okay, this doesn't make sense. You start a popular thread, with the malintent to cause a raucous, but when someone posts on topic after YOU think it should end, you believe you have the power to make us stop posting?

janiekins Aug 5th, 2010 05:28 PM

This topic is absolutely ridiculous!

If you do not want to hear babies screaming on airplanes then maybe YOU should stay home!

OneWanderingJew Aug 5th, 2010 05:28 PM

:D
