Town Maps
 

Can anyone tell me of a website where I can download town maps in France? Last year we were given very bad text directions to our hotels and took ages to find them. If we had a town map it would have been a lot easier.

Buzzy, <BR>Don't know about a website, but the Lonely Planet books have great town maps. You could always photocopy those pages and leave the book at home if you don't want to carry it. <BR>Kay

In my opinion, www.mappy.com is the current leader in giving you a zoomable, printable map of almost any town you want with excellent clean appearance and yet remarkable detail. <BR> <BR>Best wishes, <BR> <BR>Rex <BR>

Why don't you just drop a letter to the tourist offices of the towns you're interested in and ask them for one. You can also get hotels, restaurant information. Write to: <BR>Office de Tourisme <BR>Name of Town <BR>France <BR>E-mail me for more information- [email protected]

Need a street map of Positano..tried mappy and just got a big picture of the coast line with Positano in Bold. <BR>What am I doing wrong? <BR>actual address is via vicola vita,savino, 6/8 Positano
