Tower of London tube question?
 

How long does it take to get from Victoria on either the District or Circle line to Tower Hill? Also, is their a web site where I can find the times between these locations? Thanks.

it takes surprisingly long to get there on the circle line.

i found the circle line quite confusing

The District line gets confusing around Earls Court, but from Victoria to Tower Hill it's a straight shot with no train changes on both the Circle and District lines.

Don't think from ChevyChasen's comment that the District line would take less time. It will be exactly the same travel time whether you take the Circle or the District line from Victoria - since they run on the same tracks and have the same stops.

As long as you board an eastbound train (on either Circle or District) the trip is very straightforward. Just get on whichever train comes first.

As a rough measure, make it four minutes for each stop between your starting point and your destination.

I don't remember it taking too much time. The second night when we were in London we took the tube from Victoria and got off at Tower Hill. It might have taken 20 minutes, maybe a 1/2 hour.

We did not find it hard or confusing and we did not have to change trains or anything. I think we took one (the circle ) going there, and the other coming home.

We went at night and walked across Tower Bridge at night. It was lovely. We even caught some fireworks being set off in the distance.
