Well if you schedule the proctology exam during your trip the trip is fully tax deductable.

UPDATE!!

My proctologist has now performed the brain surgery. My brain has now been replaced with a round of Gouda cheese, and my thinking has cleared up, and is at the highest level it has ever been at.

I've decided, I WILL travel.....

....but I am just not sure where! Maybe I will go to a place that....

Oh well. I need to give it some more thought. OH OH!! Keep those crackers away from me!!!

Over the years, the Gouda has gotten a bit, ummmm, moldy. But it still works. Sort of. I think.

Marv, you are already "there" in that new place, with the bad weather and too many people (the ones giving you all the bad thoughts). Please tell us your location so we don't accidentally book a flight there.

I am so glad you have decided you will travel again now that your thinking has been cleared up. No, no, don't do any more thinking for yourself. With the opinions of so many Fodorites, we will have you someplace else right away. Now, where should that be. . . .? Oh no, I think I've been afflicted with your disease. I need the name of your proctologist asap.

This is exactly what this board has been missing for so long, someone that may or may not know what they want. Someone that should or should not be allowed in public. Someone with a sense of humor.

Marv, as many on this board have already stated in many, many posts, I ask you now, personally: (1) What is your budget? Give us an idea and we can help you better. (2) What are your interests? Give us an idea and we can help you better. (3)Where have you traveled previously? Give us an idea and...(4)Do you like the cold, the warmth, the snow, the skiing, the beaching etc? Give us an idea... and
I can assure you that wherever you decide to go it will be second best or even third best. At least compared to the experiences of most other posters. Thanks for your time and for giving me the opportunity to help another fellow traveler.

deciding where to go gets harder each time

i spend my time agonising over the destinations like a kid at sweet shop
so many temptations but finances are limited
so many choices but how to get the best deal the best long lasting flavour that doesnt disappoint?
i want to try something new..but what if it doesnt measure up and yet to revisit a favourite is somehow not satisfying either

totally relate
and i am the better half so i make most of the decisions anyway
wish i were the lesser half so i could just relax and complain when things dont work out
