Thanks all..more if you can.
Did the Dr. Pepper thing and was a big hit! (The REAL ones with Imperial Pure Cane Sugar)
Wondering how you find out someones hat size???:-)
Also, how bout boots??
BTW we live in Round Rock
|
If you live in Round Rock go to the museum in downtown Austin and visit the gift shop there...no charge to enter. Forget the hat and boot stuff and find something different there. I am a native Texan and never saw too many hats except on the farm and in the TV show Dallas and on the Yankees that just moved to town. Boots are for the farm and construction workers. Don't think either will work in England for long....but good for a photo.

Dr. Pepper is in England but it is not as good there as in the States. It tastes a lot different. Stetson is nice but what is the persons hat size?
Some of the best things though in Texas can never be bought....Texas is a state of mind....you just have to experience it.....

Anything spicy since Brits love curry and have some of the best Indian food in London!

Our British friends went nuts when we served them cornbread, something completely new to them. Take along some boxes of Jiffy Corn Bread mix. Tell them to put jam or honey on the hot muffins. Mmmmmmm.
