Can you climb a short flight of stairs?

If I recall you may have to to get into some cable cars -though in Switzerland there always seems some lift for folks unable to.But that's about the most I'd see in having to lift your legs except for that short walk thru Murren between train and cable way.

Thanks PalenQ. I definitely can do stairs, a tad slow, but do it every day. I think I can do it, Thanks. Sue

It's really a piece of cake.

Cheers!

Palen, As far as the Ridge Walk from Mannlichen to Kleine Sheidigg, can you estimate how far that walk might be? one mile or more? Sounds lovely. You say it is flat and then ascending/descending? So is it more flat or all 3? Sue

4.4 km (2.7 miles)

It ascends overall from The Mannlichen (alt 7687 ft) to Kleine Scheidegg (alt 6,762 ft) - mostly flatly descending - with a few small ups and downs but mainly flat as I recall.

I meant it descends overall from The Mannlichen to Kl Scheidegg not ascends. Benches along the way.

More graphically this shows a constantly descending trail when going towards Kl Scheidegg:
