This has been a really useful post. Yes, I am being sarcastic.

The question was legitimate even if duplicating one that's been asked numerous times. That is not unusual for many questions asked here.

There have been 8 entries by MrsP including the original question. Twelve -12- by Elaine and 2 by StCirq in support of Elaine.

Does anyone but me wonder what useful suggestions could have been provided had the controversy not been instigated by Elaine? Certainly some of the later and relatively new posters seem bewildered by the venom from both parties.

For me, eating in the kinds of restaurants where you spend 50 euros or more per person every day over a period of a week or ten days would really be overdoing it.

A lot of café serve good salads, omelettes, sandwiches, and soups that cost considerably less and are easier on your system. Places like the Restaurant Chartier are fun, inexpensive places to eat.

maybe your feable attempts to troll *might* fool 1st graders there

to the group:just as an aside i would spend $700 dollars eating baggettes from the supermarket and save the last $300 for a memorable dinner there.

jeff-you'll be fine with that amount of money. You just won't be dining in Michelin-starred restaurants.
