Stonehenge Early Morning
 

Need some help here Fodorites! We are staying in Salisbury at the end of May. Have booked an early morning, 8AM trip to Stonehenge with English Heritage, which is an inside the Stones tour. We need transportation to Stonehenge, the Stonehenge Tour Bus doesn't start until 9AM or later. Taxi may be our only choice but would like to find a more economical way it it exists.

The OP of that thread has been posting lately and hope she sees this one.

Just book a taxi -- you really don't have any other choice at that time in the morning. Its just under 10 miles. You might be able to take a bus back to Salisbury afterwards -- or pre-arrange with the taxi driver to pick you up.

Taxi is your only option, apart from hire car or a very long walk.
