Planning a trip to Italy south of Rome including Sicily! Plan to visit several towns. Looking for the best websites to research hotels. Any recommendations appreciated.

Good evening, Phil We used another <BR>chain in Sicily and also Italy and that <BR>was the Jolly chain, we used hotels in <BR>Palermo, Agrigento, Siracusa and Taormina, there are also Jollys in <BR>Messina and Catania. When you say "towns" do you mean you're going to some small towns? If so, it might be best to write to the little towns and ask if there are any hotels. You can also try looking for agriturismo places if that sounds appealing (or if there are no hotels in the towns you plan to visit). There are websites for certain regions that can be a source of info on hotels. You can also find hotels in small towns by doing a search on www.google.com with the name of the town plus the word "albergo" or "hotel" or "pensione".
