any help or ideas would be appreciated. |
I have done that.
What time of year---all the difference? I stayed in Porto Cesaro. Lecce, and Alberobello in Puglia. It will be hot in summer months. I suggest October. |

Hi Venezia123,
Here's info on one good B&B outside of Lecce. It is reviewed on slowtrav. I have not stayed there myself, because I extended my stay at a Masseria around Ostuni instead but I stopped by there and met Andrea who runs it with his mother. He was very nice, the rates are reasonable, and it sits in the middle of a very beautiful garden, outside of town. B&B Villa Giuliana. Via Carretti n 6, (cell) 340.08.09.257 |
PS, I should add that I was there in late October, and it's a good time to go even if there were a couple of rainy days.
