I find the best way to stay away from Fodor's is to go on holiday! Don't take a laptop, and don't visit internet cafes.

Yesterday I had a day off and was at home trying to get a bunch done. . .and the internet connection went out. I was fodorless all day and really, it helped my constant need to see it. Not that I am cured, but I am more responsible about it.

I don't even check my e-mail when I'm on vacation much less go on-line (and then I blame it on the infrastructure). This narrative doesn't fly so well if you're in London or Paris rather than Jamaica so I generally don't reveal my destination, I'm just "out of the country for a week"...
