Sudhin,

People are trying to help, but some of the recommendations are pretty sure to be beyond your budget: Certosa di Maggiano and Coltibuono, for example.

Think about Ristoro di Lamole; it's good, it's reasonable, it has views.

I know you have to get your guests there, but with what you will save on the food and wine, compared to some of the places on your list, you can probably rent two minivans.

And the SS 222 (strada statale; state road) is very scenic almost the entire length of the trip from Siena to Greve. Greve is no further than some of the other places on your list. {And, incidentally, I don't think that you can get from Siena to San Gimignano in 20-30 minutes...)

Yes, yes to Badia a Coltibuono. Lovely terrace. It strikes me as a superb wedding spot. Service is very friendly and gracious, slightly upscale. The table setting was lovely and the wine glasses were sparkling. Food was very good.

It is a bit isolated, up a windy road from the next town.

It costs a little more than other restaurants we tried in the area.

Did you mention a budget? (Eloise mentioned a budget, but I don't see a reference here...)

hi! thank you for the suggestions.I'd like to stay around E50(including wine).

I already have a quote from Scacciapensieri for E55. I will contact the others mentioned for a price comparison.

Just wanted to know if there were any strong feelings(good/bad) towards any on my list.

Thanks,
Sudhin

Please bear in mind that I do not know all the restaurants on your list, but here is what I know or have heard/read of some of them:

Siena:Palazzo Ravizza restaurant(good views): True, but I'm not sure there is sufficient space in the garden to put up your party in addition to their regular guests)
Siena:Villa Scacciapensiere restaurant(good views)
Murlo:Bosco della Spina
Castellina:Osteria Alla Piazza
Radda:Relais Fattoria Vignale (higher priced than what Villa Scacciapensieri has quoted you; besides, only an inside room as far as I can tell)
Radda:Le Vigne
Volpaia:La Bottega di Volpaia
Panzano:Il Vescovino (rumored to be overpriced)
Panzano:Oltre il Giardino
Lamole:Ristoro di lamole
Greve:Taverna del Guerrino
Greve:La Cantinetta di Rignana
Montalcino:Boccondivino (said to have slipped badly in quality in the past year or two)
Montalcino:Fattoria dei barbi (I've read conflicting reports about it)
Montefellonico:La Costa (probably on the high side, pricewise)
