Should I learn how to yodel before a trip?

Do you know how to yodel? Is it hard? Will I be asked to yodel if I get called on stage?

My tongue might get all tired? Please let me know as I may be planning a trip. Thank you.

Anything would be preferable to these droning posts. But I'm sure your groupies will think this one a stitch too.

By all means learn. It will give you something to do on those long overnight flights.

my posts drone? more importantly - I have groupies? wow.

I feel that yodeling would be fun - maybe you should try it ms. aria.

oh basingsoke1 - yodeling on a plane would liven up the flight for sure!

Funny you should mention yodeling.

My family took a bike ride to Einsiedeln this morning. We got off our bikes and walked down the car free roads. There were folk costumes (Trachten) from all Switzerland. There were stands set up that looked like alphuts. And there was yodeling. Clear, beautiful yodeling.

Einsiedeln is having a huge Jodelfest this weekend. I hope to go tonight again!

Peeky, yah never know how these music trends might go. Who knows, maybe Yodelers will be the new rock stars and have beautiful wild women throw themselves at yah. ;)

peeky, I think you should practice your yodeling on a really long flight. It will give people something to think about other than the baby being changed on a nearby seat.
After all travel should be something that touches all of the senses!

didn't cowboys used to yodel their country songs? may be because they were immigrants from Germany - travel and all of that. I think that yodeling is cute and it must be hard to do but I cough when I try it! Go ahead try it now and see what happens - let us know.

I am still trying to get over the droning remark - why try to hurt me?

peeky, yodelling is so yesterday. Dodelling is the new thing in super deep windpipe music.

Wow, that's a first, I've never been referred to as a "groupied" before, lol. :)

From what I understand, P_M is our expert yodeler. Perhaps she can tell you how she got started.

For what it's worth, I remember listening to yodeling as a child. My aunt also played the accordian. And that's no joke.
