Shopping for shoes

Going to Italy for christmas & new year's, want to know if Tod's shoes are really a bargain compared to the States and where to find them. Thanks!!

If they are, I will let you know my size and send $ :D LOL

I saw and outlet outside of Florence and went in for a look. It wasn't cheap! I hadn't priced Tod's before I left home but it didn't seem like a real bargain. I was disappointed!

Hi Kelly R,

I too am a European shopaholic. I've been to Italy a few times over the past couple of years and can tell you with all honesty, it was not easy to find a deal on ANY designers in Italy. Sad, but true.

BUT...since you are going to be there in January, that is when many sales start to happen. I would try to do a little research with books like "Born to Shop: Italy" and others to find out which outlets or shoe factories are open at that time and which department stores have big January mark-downs.

It's tough now with the low U.S. dollar and all, but at the very least you can get your international tax refund.

Good luck and let us know how it goes...

P.S. Hi Scarlett!

With the exchange rate as it is,I wouldn't count on too many bargains. Just go and have a wonderful time!

Well my dear, they are 10-30 per cent cheaper so don't expect any miracles, but they are that little bit less.
