She never did, so I can only assume they never found anything suitable. Or maybe something came up and the trip was cancelled. Or maybe Squeak forgot her promise. Maybe she'll come back and tell us if Weebles isn't busy on Squeak's computer.

I'd be more interested in seeing the link to the "mysterious" Ile St. Louis apt. that Squeak stayed in but she is being so elusive about. It spawned quite an extensive thread about apts. vs. hotels, yet we never got to find out anything about it.

Weebles, are you still interested? Or have you decided nothing will be suitable for $7000? Do you want people to continue to see if anyone can find that ParisLuxe one you liked for a $7000 price? What's happening?

True, but if she's still interested and we can find Weebles a great place for $6000 for the week instead of the original $7000, she'd have enough left over to buy herself a nice computer so they wouldn't have to share!

Why am I suddenly getting the idea that you really didn't want to spend $7000 for an apartment and really don't care if that one you supposedly liked might be available for that? If you do, have you pursued finding it for less through another agency which seems to be a very likely possibility? Has your sister suggested their place in Ile St. Louis? What's going on with this project?

I think it was a joke (maybe not, but it gave me my laugh for the day). Formule 1 hotels are sleazy concrete bunkers.

OK. Duh. I saw things like Sofitel listed at the bottom of that site, but didn't realize what the actual booking site was.
