As a tribute to Lori could we top some of her posts, or provide a link? I didn't know her as well as some of you so please help find a good thread featuring Lori. ((f))

I did a search and I topped a couple of her threads.

Maybe the editors could do something nice? Email them!

There is a sad somthing missing knowing she has left us.

My condolences to Lori's family, friends. I didn't know her but her passing reminds me of my/our friend Miriam who passed away about 2.5 years ago. Like Lori, Miriam provided travel information and advise and was a good friend to many here on Fodors.com.

Someone wrote in response to my posting about Miriam, “…Yet now we'll think of Mariam and Wes Fowler having the most fabulous discussions heaven's ever heard…” We can now hear Lori adding to their wonderful discussions.

I am so sad about Lori. I have always enjoyed reading Lori's post and am in the process of planning our trip with friends to London in November. I had not gone to the website and read about Scala House. I will add Lori and her family to our prayer list at the church that I work at. I love this message board. It is so amazing how we don't really know each and most of us have never met anyone on this site in person. Do we ever know how much we mean ti each other but yet we share a lot of things in common. I truly would have loved to meet Lori. I hope when my husband and I are in London in November that we can meet up with some of you guys.

I am very sorry to learn of this news, and would like to express my sympathy to Lori's friends and family.

Yes, I think it is nice to think we have a new "travel angel" up in heaven now looking at us, and sharing some travel stories with Ed, Miriam, Art, and Wes, our deceased Fodors "alumni". Each of them contributed their unique talents and experiences to Fodors and each is dearly missed.
