We recently returned from Europe and brought this bag and loved it, not as our luggage, but as our carry on personal item. It also makes a good beach bag, or a tote to carry sweaters, hats, umbrellas, etc. around town.
http://shop.eaglecreek.com/search/41111 We did not fly Ryanair this time, but the last time we did, 1 meant 1. This is a great bag because you can put your purse, camera (I don't have a huge one but is is not pocket sized), and any other things you pick up in the airport. British Air, Lufthansa and Aegean all had an 8 kilo limit, but they never weighed it. We checked our luggage and they did weigh that. Many people had to redistribute their items. These new 4 wheel bags are great, but they taller and some people could not fit it in the overheads straight in. The attendants on our flight on Lufthansa repositioned them sideways, but it was not a full flight. They might not be so patient if it was. |
that's the trouble with rules that the airlines themselves don't abide by - it leads to a sense of unfairness when they suddenly decide to follow them.
