We love the Hotel Modigliani, on quiet, safe Ave Purificacion up the street from Piazza Barberrini, ...a boutiquey type. It's our place to stay in Rome and have many times recommended it to family and friends. You can walk to Navona, Fiori, and Trevi, Spanish Steps. Rates at about 200 euros.
