Rome for New Years

My husband and I will be spending 11 days in Rome over New Years through the 7th. We only see each other every 3 months because of how long visas take to process, so we like to do a few some things to make it special and memorable. Any recommendations for New Years? We like to have lots of fun and enjoy good wine! Thanks!J

Hi Janice,

You and your husband live apart and only see each other every few months? Did I understand that correctly?

Have either of you been to Rome before? Are you after recommendations ONLY for New Years Eve?

If money is not a problem, I'd spend as much time as possible at Hotel Russie, just north of Piazza Spagna. Just walk into the place and you'll be enchanted.
