Having a second honeymoon and want to know some good picturesque romantic spots in UK. We don't necessarily need expensive castle hotels, just looking for atmosphere and scenic beauty.

castle combe would meet your specificationsm; the manor house is very nice. other possibilities: weston manor, weston-on-the-green hotel is old and lovely. we also liked pennyhill park in bagshot; great fosters in egham (not far from heathrow); the cottage in the wood, malvern wells; ston easton park, near bath; and cheddington court in cheddington, near dorset.
