Janis we didn’t have tea at the hotel but it did look nice. The room was really terrific and the staff there is excellent. We loved it although we didn’t take advantage of the private garden but loved being close to Sloane Square and Pavilion Road.

Janisj, wonderful trip report and beautiful photography! That exhibit looks fabulous! I am always envious of your quick jaunts to London, you pack so much in.
I am in the camp of wanting to lie down on the way over to get some sleep, but I am fine on the way back in PE or in the last fews rows of coach where the seating by the windows is 2 across. Coming back, after a good nights sleep, the body time works out well. We have found great airfare on BA doing that recently. |

There really are two camps re Business/Coach flight directions. Me - I agree with you that the lie flat overnight is a game changer. But others prefer Business (or First) on the daytime flight home because they are awake and can enjoy the perks more. But that assumes the Premium Economy is comfortable enough that one can sleep. This time I did manage to sleep a bit in PE. |
Thank you for the TR, I will spend a few days in London later this year, let's see what I can squeeze in!

Another fine report, janis, and another epic trip. The photo sizes look just fine to me. Some beautiful stuff.
I'd love to see the Siena exhibition. |
