Sue, Gordes was a good central location. Again, we adored the B&B there. Mas de la Beaum is nothing short of amazing in its decor and the breakfasts were outstanding. The B&B was worth the stay alone. Our hostess was a great source of information as well.

TC - I am so excited to hear you loved Eveche. We are spending two nights there. Monday and Sunday so we can be there for the market on Tuesday. We are then off for two nights in Goult at a B&B called Buisson that seems heavenly. We picked Goult as it is more centally located in the Luberon and not as touristy. We have two more nigths before heading up to Alpe d'huez for the Tour and can't decide on Arles, St Remy or Uzes. Any suggestions?

Uzès is an interesting town to visit, but for staying I would choose St.-Rémy first, then Arles if you want a large, bustling city rather than a small town.

Goult is one of our favorite towns and is much better located than Gordes for exploring the area.

We did not get to Uzes, although I thought it looked quite interesting. We did, however, love the day we spent in St. Remy - a beautiful city with lots of old world charm.

I think we may do St Remy although depending if we can still get a room we may change to Arles. I know recommendations for accomodations in St Remy are everywhere here so I will search, but if anyone wants to suggest something here - it would much appreciated.
