Porto or Guimarăes?
We've only one day as it will be a cruise ship stop. We have several excursion choices. We can't do both in one day. Which one should we do? Porto or Guimarăes?

Thanks for your thoughts. Guimaraes is smaller with less to experience. It is however of great historical importance since it is the birthplace of Portugal. Guimaraes is about 1hour east of Porto and that's time you could use in Porto. Assuming you're docking in Porto. Happy travels |

Since you don’t have time to see both, choose Porto. Hopefully you will gravel to Portugal again and will be able to visit Guimaraes.
