Please allow me to introduce myself....
Hi, I have been a member of other web sites and we always introduce ourselves as a new member. I don't know if you do this here, but let's start something?!
I am a female from California, I was born and raised in So. Cal and have lived at the beach and for years I have lived in Pasadena and I love it here. Right now I am single and happy about that and I am not a Spring Chicken, but not an Autumn Hen either. I am blonde streaked, medium height and build and I work out with weights. I love to travel and would love to join your web site! Tell us (or me) about yourselves, you sound like an interesting group! |
By the way, I don't expect to be an Autumn or Fall Hen at all, I want to keep my Springiness all my life.
Sounds like you are looking for a travel partner. Sorry, I'm taken. ((b))
What is your sign?
Is this serious or a troll?
<I don't expect to be an autumn or fall Hen at all,I want to keep my springiness all my life>
mightyflighty, you can tell us your real identity (your secret is safe with us!) So go on which one are you, Cher or Joan Rivers :D |
I think mightyflighty has mistaken this board for letsmakeadate.com!!!! |
A couple of important questions: have you met ARNOLD and are you a natural blonde? And you said you were no spring chicken, but exactly how many times have you been around the block?
I'm feeling a bit shocked at being referred to as an Autumn Hen.
I thought it was going to be Mick Jagger.
I forgot to ask: Did you get a hefty divorce settlement and what is your favorite color?
Oh dear, mightyflighty, I guess by now you have figured out that this website is not like many others. Just jump in to the fray, don't be too thin-skinned, and if you want to know more about this group, there are several threads you can find. Or just hang around -- you'll learn plenty.
PS Autumn Hen, indeed. Mad as a wet hen is more like it.
Marilyn, very nicely said.
Marilyn, I was agreeing with you first post BTW. Maybe she was just trying to be friendly. In this day and age, every little bit of civility helps IMO.
I guess you don't introduce yourselves here!
Oh well. I am not looking for a Bud, man, I have a boyfriend, sorry. I thought Autumn Hen was clever, but mad as a wet hen is even funnier! A feisty lot, aren't you? I'll be back to talk the travel talk, now that I have formally introduced myself. |
I came in, a little bit too much like this... eager to let others know who I am, looking to make the acquaintance of others who might like to share travel plans.
I had to develop a thick skin, but 4+ years (and almost 7000 posts) later, I am still here. And I am one of the few that put together a trip from this forum (as did Art Hussey). Hoping for another one in 2004 or 2005? Best wishes, Rex Bickers Floyds Knobs, Indiana |
mightyflighty, "feisty" is as good a word as any to describe us, and it won't get the post deleted by the fodors police. :-D
Thanks, Judyrem. I love it when people agree with me! Rex, you have outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted many others -- you deserve to be in the Survivor All-Stars. |
Rex, Floyds Knobs could go on the Faraway Places with STrange Sounding Names threads!
mightyflighty, welcome to Fodors! I think Scarlett will always be considered a chick. Forget the season!! Grab a drink, pull up a chair and have a nice long read, you will get to know us better that way~ ((F)) Scarlett |
I feel a little better about being a Feisty Autumn Hen.
