Dorset has quite a few; I like Puddletown which is on the Piddle River. In the USA, Bucksnort, Tennessee.
Lake Titicaca is my all-time favorite, but there's also Intercourse, PA - not far from Climax . . . Pippa Passes, Kentucky .. . Bell Buckle, Tennessee . . . and, for the European travelers among us . . .Warks, Wales. Just part of what makes being on the road such an adventure.

In my neck of the woods (and where did that expression come from, anyway?) here in southside Virginia, the quickest way to reach Climax from Bachelors Hall is to go through Hurt...but I prefer to get there via Tightsqueeze!

In Canada we have more than our share. Newfoundland has the best ones. Others are:
Kicking Horse Pass, Medicine Hat, Snake River, Clappison's Corners, Crooked Creek.
Lakes just to our North include: Oxtongue Lake, Dotty Lake, Big Mink Lake, Go Home Lake, Calabogie and hundreds more.

I always think of that old (probably very)song with the line 'Why mus' we always go to Guaymas, when I wanna go to Guanajuato?'
