Photos from Paris in November

I'm just back last night, and I have no idea what time or day it is. Taking advantage of jet lag to winnow down my seven hundred photos to around 60. Trip report to follow when I am more lucid.

Merci, Nikki - looks as if you had good weather too. Great pics!

Nice!

I really liked number 26 of 58. It is nothing that I recognize, yet it screams "PARIS!" to me. The lighting, both natural and man made, are perfect. A modern and random street scene...

The lighting is perfection on the last photo at Place des Vosges. The long shadows note the season. Really makes me wish I was there!

Thx for sharing. :)

What a posh apartment! Like your taste!

Nikki Nov 22nd, 2009 04:47 AM

Thanks for the nice comments.

I did have pretty good weather. But the only real sunny day was the very last one.

And I will miss "my" Paris apartment.

Nikki,
May I ask, whom did you rent your Rue Mornay apartment thru? It looks beautiful, could you give us a few details?
Your photos are wonderful, can't wait to get there and take my own!

Nikki. Lovely pictures. I bet after seeing these, DH was wishing just a little bit that he had been there.

Fabulous photos, Nikki! You have definitely shown that November is not always miserable weather in Paris (but it is, sometime!).

I must confess that the apartment does not look a bit like a French apartment to me, although I fully understand why so many of you love it.

taconictraveler Nov 22nd, 2009 10:21 AM

Nikki: Your photos show the iconic Paris, what a treat!! However, one place I did NOT know, but have added to my list is the Cirque d'Hiver! It looks fascinating. Does it run only in winter season?
