Thanks so much for all the nice comments on my report. When people ask why we return to Paris so often we always say that it’s the way we feel when we are there walking the streets. There is just something about the beauty and comfort of the city. It’s always wonderful to know that there are others ho feel the same.

Who knew??? I just noticed that Le Grand Colbert (where we had lunch) was in the movie “Something’s Got To Give” with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. In watching the scene I also noticed that we were seated at the same table. Maybe the host thought as Americans we knew of the movie. If I had known ahead of time I would have taken better photos at the table. But sadly, we had no former knowledge.

Thanks to fourfortravel for suggesting to look up movie scenes in Paris and visiting them. I will add more sites to our next visit.

I think I missed this the first time. Loved seeing that table at Marco Polo (but you know that)! Also, the Christmas markets and the fresh flowers....love Paris at Christmas! Would love to be there now!!

I'm afraid you would be disappointed.

I'm sure you're right kerouac---hope you are well! I would like to be in the Paris of my memories where covid doesn't exist!
