paris hotels

I want to take my daughter, 13 year old, to Paris in March. Please recommend a location that would be convenient to get around and a hotel.

You'll do best in the single-digit arrondissements. As for a hotel, what is your budget and how many rooms do you need?

A price range would really help here!
I'd do 4-6th

I traveled last winter with my 16 year old daughter. We stayed at the Hotel Jardin de l'Odeon, I think in the 6th. It is steps away from Blvd St Germain and St Michel and a great location. They had a great internet rate.

A wonderful location is" The Madison Hotel" on St. Germaine Blvd. Very close to the Seine and all the charm of the left bank. A 13 yr. old would also enjoy all the nighttime activities--rollerbladers,street musicians, students hanging out, etc. Friday night around Notre Dame is something to be seen.

Right bank is more like New York.

Hotel Le Clement, 6, rue Clement in the 6th.I've stayed in this area, almost annually, since the early 80s.
The Hotel le Clement is a 5-minute walk from the abovementioned Madison Hotel and much less expensive. Get a room on a high floor and facing the street as those rooms are best. It's on a rather quiet street, on a square. I usually have problems sleeping in Paris, but not in this hotel. I put in the foam ear plugs and sleep like a baby.
