Gardoz, we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. We would have it after we set out for our days adventure. We did have have wine most evenings in the wood paneled lounge. They would build a fire in the fireplace and it was so relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.

Agree with Nealnyc. We stayed in a suite at Hotel De l'Abbaye. The room was very quiet and close to almost everything. A 10 minute walk to Saint Sulpice, and 10 minutes the other direction to the Luxemberg Gardens.
