Paris Hotel

Hi Everybody
I'm traveling to Paris this summer with my wife, three teenage girls and my mother, (who is in very good health, and will probably walk more than us). Looking for a hotel in Paris near the subway that is clean and not too expensive. Any thoughts? Thanks

I am sure you will hear this from others, but we don't know what expensive means to you.

So, there are a number of hotels that may suit you near the Odeon metro stop. Several bus lines also run from there. Hotel Louis II, Odeon Hotel, Hotel Fleurie (not as close to that stop) are possibilities. There are several more hotels in the area that are more expensive than the 3 I mentioned.

It might help to know what you expect to pay/night.

David, with three adults and three teenagers, how many rooms will you be booking? Hotel rooms in Paris are not that big.

Try www.venere.com to search out what you want. You don't have to book with them, and they do have maps and reviews.

As noted above, rooms are not large, particularly in the not too expensive category.

I wouldn't worry too much about the Metro, one always seem near.

And someone's bound to suggest that you might want to consider an apartment:
