I now have a place to lay my head in Paris and can turn my attention to other matters. Does any one have any suggestions of where we could met? The OPs are all staying in the 6th but we are very willing and able to travel.

Julie posted some great suggestions. Is anyone in for either Tuesday or Wednesday?

Also are you interested in joining us for dinner as well?

We are still interested in meeting on Tuesday or Wednesday...either drinks or dinner. We'll be in the 5th and would prefer the "middle" rather than "off the beaten track", but we're open as to where.

We'll be in Paris from the 14th to the 28th, so our timeframe works. Would love to attend a GTG, and might be able to meet on Tuesday or Wednesday. We're staying in the marais, but we are good walkers and plan to be in the 6th a lot (our usual stomping grounds).
So please keep me posted.

that has a sing along. The accordianist passes out the words.I forget the name of the restaurant but if you click on my name, the trip report is there. We hope we meet up with you.

Grandot, I just read your Paris post! I'm hoping some of the posters who responded to this at the beginning will chime in so we can make some plans. Please keep checking.

I am so jealous. I would love to be in Paris in March. I was there last March and we went to Louis Vins twice and it was excellent. Met the Chef who sat down at our table to chat which was hard since he spoke no english and our french was poor to say the least but we had a great time.

DH and I will be there at 6 pm for drinks! Will be watching for changes, otherwise, see you there!

Well, a chook is another word we sometimes use for chicken. So it's like calling someone an old duck - old chook - not always derogatory and in my case just self deprecating! :) really looking forward to meeting you all and will check in just before my departure to make sure nothing has changed.

Julie, you're so lucky. I look at the Eiffel webcam every day and think "what a beautiful day in Paris."
