It's quite possible some people are just acclimated differently. I noticed when I went to Mexico and I took a day tour that this Frenchwoman put on a light jacket when we went from a spot that was about 85F down to a spot that was perhaps 75F. Similarly, you can see Italians wearing fur coats when the temperature is 60F. So I have no problem believing that people with that sort of temperature sense have no need for air conditioning even when the temperature exceeds 90F, but that probably does not apply to most Americans or Canadians.

And FWIW, since this is an old thread containing outdated info, most of the Paris Perfect apts. do indeed now have AC.
