Normandy is not a wine lovers paradise BUT-the calvadoes is wonderful as well as the hard cider.
Most of the affordable calvados here tastes like fire water :)

If you order a "coup" at the start of the meal (calvo) and then fight your way through the cream and butter based dishes and a brandy at the end should be good
