There's an article in the Travel section saying that BA is turning away their telephone customers in favor of their website. The reason being is that they're implementing a new system and it's more efficient to book via the website for now. The thing is, I personally had 45 mins.+ wait way back in March. So I'm not sure why they cannot get the new system to work properly.
